Release 19.10 now available

The latest intermediate release of ProductWriter is now available for download. This release extends the availability of Date Related Rating to all ProductWriter users. The following is a summary of the new functionality and changes that you will see in ProductWriter Release 19.10. |

Date Related Rating
|
|
|
Support for Date Related Rating The
Date Related Functionality is now available to all users as part of the
Insurer Toolset. This functionality
involves rating risks according to a date and a numeric value – usually the
date of the transaction and the scheme variant. A
new editor is available to support this functionality along with changes to
the Navigator and Rules Editor, amongst others. Date Related Controls Editor The Date Related Controls Editor is now available to all users
as part of the Insurer Toolset. This editor allows the creation, deletion and
editing of controls used in date related rating. The editor supports control rules, control
groups and control tables which can be used within the rules editor. These controls allow a specific underlying
rule, group or table to be referenced at runtime dependant on values present
in the dataserver. The Date Related Editor is also directly accessible from the
toolbar by means of a new icon. XMLDD Support for Date Related
Rating The
toolset has been updated to support Date Related Rating for Schema Based
Dictionaries. User Guide The
user guide has been updated in line with changes to ProductWriter
release 19.10. Pages and sections that are new or have had significant changes made to them are identified by a red star on the page icon |

Effect on Existing Products and
Dictionaries Existing
products are not affected by this release and will operate as they do
now. The look and feel of ProductWriter
is largely unchanged, however where new functionality has been added, care
has been taken to ensure that the user interface remains consistent. |
