The Polaris
Product Health check is a scheme efficiency check undertaken by Polaris
consultants who will work closely with the client. All our findings will be strictly confidential. The Health check
will cover the following areas:
Data Usage
We will check the
correct usage of data captured by the client/broker system (data specification
provided by client) and identify any potential problems regarding data usage.
These will include:

Scheme input
properties not being collected by the Point of Sale System
·
Client
required outputs not being set by your scheme
Performance
We will run our
own tests against the scheme to:

Compare the
speed of the scheme against a client approved scheme
·
Identify and
recommend changes to improve the scheme’s performance
Scheme Check
Insurer schemes
will be checked by our consultants for:
·
Efficient
rule-writing
·
Groups and
table usage
·
Correct
usage of instances and user defined properties
·
Potential
problems and maintenance overhead
Our Findings....
Following the
Health check, we will:
·
Issue a
letter to the Insurer detailing the findings of the Health check
·
Give the
Insurer a summary of what we have/have not done
·
Suggest our
recommended actions for scheme improvement to ensure the successful implementation
of the client product
